Current status

Updated January 2007.

From 2002 through to 2006, the AfriCam website entered a state of dormancy while the ownership and shareholding distilled itself. In early 2006 Campbell Scott took over sole ownership of AfriCam and re-launched the website in September 2006 with live broadband streaming from Nkorho Pan in the Northern Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

Now under new ownership and management the site has renewed energy. Campbell's vision is to revive AfriCam, and grow it once again into a site that brings African wildlife and information into your home, and to instil good business practice that will insure a happy, satisfying and sustainable future.

The AfriCam website is developing in three distinct directions; education, travel and rich media, which will see AfriCam move into the mobile technology and streaming media arena.

As can be seen from the phenomenal response on the AfriCam Boma, AfriCam is once again growing into one of the world's most popular Internet destinations.
